Articulation Officers - Guide to Submitting Course Outlines for Review

Below are step-by-step instructions on how to submit a course for C-ID designation:

  1. Click on the Course Review menu choice.
  2. Log-in using the user name and password provided to your college articulation officer by the C-ID Staff. Once logged in you will be presented with a page from which you can submit courses outlines for C-ID designation.
  3. Logging in will bring you to the Welcome to the C-ID Course Submission and Status Area page.
  4. The first step is to select a discipline from the drop down list. Once a discipline is selected, another drop down list will appear, prompting you to select a C-ID course descriptor that you are submitting your course outline to.
  5. After you select the appropriate C-ID course descriptor, you will be presented with a page titled, Submit a Course Outline of Record for Review. On this page, you will enter in the following information about your course:
    • Your name, phone number, and email address
    • The institution course designation and number
    • The institution course title
    • Course units (select semester or quarter units)
    • Indicate if the course has a lab
    • List the course advisories, prerequisites, and/or co-requisites
    • The last step is uploading your course outline. You have two options for how to do this:
      1. Press the Other online accessible location radio-button to enter in a publicly accessible web site link from which C-ID staff can retrieve your course outline. You must provide a fully qualified URL that will work if pasted directly into a browser's address box.
      2. Directly upload a PDF document of your course outline to the C-ID web site.

If you have any questions while you are completing the form, please email info@c-id.net or call (916) 445-4753 and project staff will assist you. Our goal is to make this a user friendly process for you. Once you complete the form, the following review/approval process will then take place:
