C-ID Descriptor Review Area
As a main goal of the C-ID project is to develop descriptors with intersegmental faculty, C-ID is committed to getting faculty feedback and involvement. We want to ensure that these descriptors are properly vetted among knowledgeable faculty across the segments and state. By making all of C-ID’s drafted descriptors available for comment, we hope they will be the most representative descriptors possible, thereby providing a reliable basis for articulation and transfer across the state.
C-ID now invites all California post-secondary faculty in given disciplines to participate in the review process by viewing and commenting on the descriptors now posted on the website. You can enhance the project and its descriptors and directly impact statewide transfer and articulation and shape course descriptors for use across the state.
We appreciate any feedback you can provide, and invite you to forward this email and share this information with your colleagues.
Below are the instructions for logging on to the C-ID website and providing feedback:
- Go to www.C-ID.net

- Read the draft descriptors in your discipline area or related areas having impact on your discipline.
